Casumo is for adults aged 18 and over and it is a paid pastime, not income. Every game has a house edge, and the cartoon mascot does not change the maths. Set a deposit limit when you register, use the reality-check tools, and if play worries you, free help is at GambleAware.
Cute branding, serious question
Casumo has always sold itself as the friendly one. Daily free spins, a robot helper called Umo, bright artwork and a promise to make casino play feel like a game. Our question was whether the playfulness hides weaker plumbing in payments, support or choice.
First, some housekeeping on who you are dealing with. TNT Sports' review says the brand began in Sweden in 2012 and that the UK site is run by Recro Limited, a Malta-based company under Gambling Commission licence 61549. The same page notes that an earlier licence holder, Casumo Services Limited, paid a £6m penalty in March 2021. That is old history under a different licence, but it is a reminder to look past the mascot.
From our test location Casumo's own site refused to load and showed a "not available in your region" page. That is normal for a licensed operator, and it is why most of the evidence here comes from store listings and independent reviewers.
The game choice is not a weakness
Counts differ by source, which is common. Gambling.com lists 3,500+, casino.org's headline says 4,400+ and TNT Sports says 4,600+. The App Store description claims 3,500+ slots alone. Whichever you pick, the lobby is big, with progressive networks such as Mega Moolah, Age of the Gods, Jackpot King and WowPot on the shelf.

If your habit is slots, there is no real gap here.
Where it is thinner: live tables and loyalty
The live casino is about 60 tables from Evolution, Playtech Live and Pragmatic Play Live. Quality is fine, but the number is below most big UK rivals, and game-show choice in particular is limited. The one flourish is a set of Casumo-branded blackjack and roulette tables.
There is also no classic VIP club. Instead you get Umodays (daily free spins, reload offers and seasonal deals) and Umoboards, which are slot leaderboards with prize drops and tournament entries. We prefer this to a hidden VIP ladder, since a scheme that rewards big spenders is the part of a casino most likely to encourage harm. If you want points and cashback, look elsewhere.
