Rakeback sounds like a gift: the casino hands back a slice of its own edge on every bet, win or lose. The useful question is how big the slice is and what it is a slice of. Duelbits is more open than most about the first half of that question. Its VIP page says rakeback starts at 5% from your first bet and rises to a maximum of 12.5% at the highest tiers you can reach on your own. We set out to test whether that beats the rewards at bigger crypto casinos.
Some limits on that test. We read Duelbits' own pages, including its Terms of Service, and did not deposit, so nothing here is a payout test. We could not verify the rakeback schemes of other sites to the same standard, so the only direct comparison we make is with Cloudbet, whose own terms we also read.
What 12.5% of the house edge is worth
Rakeback is a percentage of the casino's expected profit, not of your stake, and that changes the scale entirely. Duelbits says its Originals, such as Crash, Mines, Plinko and Dice, run at a 1% house edge and 99% RTP. At 5% rakeback you get back 0.05% of everything you wager on them. At the 12.5% ceiling it is 0.125%, which the site itself works out as an effective edge of about 0.875%.
On a $10,000 turnover that is $5 at the entry rate and $12.50 at the top rate. On a slot with a 4% edge, 5% rakeback returns 0.2%, or $20. Those are small amounts, and rakeback does not turn a losing activity into a profitable one. It trims the cost of play. Judge any rewards scheme by that arithmetic, not by the percentage in the banner.
Cloudbet's terms offer 10% of the house edge during a 30-day welcome window, which is better than Duelbits' entry rate but temporary. Duelbits' range is permanent, though you must climb to earn the upper end. Neither is obviously generous.

The part of the programme you cannot join
The VIP page says plainly that the VIP Club is invitation-only. The rakeback mechanism is open to everyone, but the personal manager, tailored bonuses and exclusive events are reserved for players the site chooses. So the best-sounding items in the rewards copy are not purchasable by effort alone.
The promotion terms add a caveat that deserves attention. Ace's Rewards, the rakeback scheme, is calculated according to each game's RTP, and games deemed susceptible to abuse are left out. Duelbits also reserves the right to exclude any player it considers to be abusing a promotion, at its sole discretion.
